This is actually a very rare but interesting form of poem. If u look closely, u will discovered that the first three sentences are made out of Nouns, n Nouns only.
枯藤 = dry ratten 老树 = old tree 昏鸦 = confused / dizzy crow 小桥 = small bridge 流水 = flowing river 人家 = someone's house 古道 = old passage 西风 = wind from the west 瘦马 = thin horse
And the last sentence means "the sun is setting, sad person is far away from home"
The poem provide a detailed background, n try to bring out the emotion tat is implied in the background, i.e. feeling of loneliness...
Of course, many people may have different idea when this poem can be used to describe, but i believe the tone is more or less the same. Haha...
